W203 Estate 2006 boot trim removal

Hi guys!

While waiting for my rear shocks from Bilstein to arrive, I wanna ask you guys if anyone of your got instructions or drawings on how to remove the boot trim/lining in order to access the top mounting for the shocks. Can't find any videos or instructions for my Estate model

Thanks in advance!

You use a plastic wedge and remove the applicable plastic fasteners-----FYI do yourself a favor and open the boot and take a weekend to notice how the trim is fastened

Yes, I was hoping to avoid to reinvent the wheel again. That's why I was asking for drawings or some kind of instructions, hehe. And I think it a few steps more when we're talking about the estate model. Along the boot wall lining I can't see any plastic fasteners like there are on the sedan model. On the estate model there are some plastic fasteners on the tailgate, but that's it.

Not exactly sure which lining you're talking about but, here's a video that might help:

If you could take a picture of the lining you're talking about and post it we might be able to assist you further.

Thank you for your reply! I took some time yesterday to figure out the lining assembly and manage to get almost everything off without using any force. Got stuck on the lining part covering the wheel arch. It's held by a stubbern blue plastic clip located behind the panel (blue arrow). The panel is also "guided" by the adjustable rear seat supporting thingy (orange arrow). I think that one won't be a problem as long as the blue clip is gone. I was to afraid to use more force than I did. So anyone with any hints or tips on how to remove this last panel? Maybe it's just a matter of using more force and not being afraid to break anything

This is why I love forums. Thank you so much!

Even though the instructions are for the left panel, which seems to not have that clip I'm talking about, I now know I'm supposed to remove the screw #4 which probably will make it easier to remove the panel even if that evil clip holds the panel in place. Or, maybe that clip was added on post 2003 models. Mine is 2006...
