You can get higher octane gas in California if you look around.

The 76 website used to let you search for what octane fuels were carried at what stations, including pump 100 and things like 118 and higher in barrels. I can't find that on their site anymore, so I only know a few locations local to me.

The numbers on the first page would be for the Euro tails, which are different from the NA lights. That probably explains why your dealer draws a blank. I also have the Euro lights so can't help.

Hi all,

I called MBUSA yesterday and spoke to Linda in their Customer Assistance Center to ask about the availability of '05 spec. lights and lenses. She said that she'd make some calls to their Accessories department and call me back. Didn't really expect speedy reply (if at all) but she called me back within 30 minutes to say that MBUSA Accessories now has a program to supply the whole headlamp and rear lens assemblies to give '04 and prior car the 'facelift' look.

She couldn't confirm if they are available right now but said she was told they'll be available through dealerships very soon. No prices but their Accessories folks apparently said that they would be very competitive.

Also worth noting that those folks are very familiar with the mbworld.org forums and say that they often monitor the boards to keep the 'finger on the pulse'.

boy, if you get them at $22 per, buy a 1000 and run to ebay. 111.21 euro's = $133.11 US.
