Factory Retrofit 2004 C230k
This thread is going to be slightly scatter-brained. As can be seen in the title I own a 2004 C230 Kompressor. After viewing others online I really want to add factory options to my car such as the rear window sunshade, heated seats, and as a long term day dreamy goal, the sun roof. I have found a donor car at my local junkyard which has all of the options I want, but I currently don't have the knowledge to be able to remove these parts out of the car without damaging them. I've already yanked the more optioned-out switch panel for the center console, but I am unable to find much online for the way the heated seats are wired up , or if its possible to cut the stitching on the sewn in heat pads from the leather seats. Along with this, guides showing the removal or repair of the w203 rear sunshade are few and far between and I would rather not try to go in blind and end up damaging the parts as I assume ordering new ones is highly expensive.

Fwiw, someone on ebay is selling the MB Service DVDs for ~$300+.
Yea, a rip-off. But, considering that MB hasn't sold DVDs for ~10 years, and they very rarely come up on ebay, it may not be a bad idea.
Also, there's EPC online. That is a MB online site, that costs per year to use.
But, iirc, that FLAMING POS website requires JAVA and IE!!
Fwiw, imho, if anyone buys a used MB and thinks that it'll be a cheap or easy car to work on, imho, they are a fool!
Btw, I have swap land in Florida that I'll sell to them. Heck, I may sell them the Brooklyn Bridge (which *I* own 100% outright!).

Though not the factory manual, which I have the consumer version DVD of the WIS as well, but often I use the Haynes book for the car which is very good and detailed for most jobs that you need to do, it will also indicate what jobs are not possible for the backyard mechanic due to special tools or procedures that are only available at the dealership or specialized repair place (e.g. a press for the rear bearings) https://haynes.com/en-us/mercedes-benz/c230/2001-2007
