2005 C240 4Matic front drivers side clunk/bounce sound when pulling into driveway....

Hey everyone. Another problem with my 05 C240 4matic.. when pulling into my driveway we are hearing a dong/clunk/bouncy sound coming from the front drivers side area.
This is what I have done so far: Replaced the sway bar link that connects to the strut and sway bar, popped the hood and tightened the strut nut. Still making the noise.. Here's the strange difficult part about all this is. On the road we don't hear the noise when hitting a bump or small pot hole. we don't hear the noise driving around. Just when we pull into certain areas when the front left wheel contacts a higher plane it makes a a strange sound. Suspension feels tight in front, not bouncy at all when driving.
Is it worth changing the lower cross strut control arm with ball joint built in? Thx!!

I had the same problem, then one night the steering started to feel loose, like the steering rack was coming loose. Next day when backing out of and turning the wheel right BAM the ball joint separate from the control arm the wheel/tire canted out and a tow was needed.
So now I'm replacing the tie rod end, control arm, CV axle (I have a 4matic) and sway bar link. I'd replace the control arm as it take most of the beating anyway. - NP

I thought it might be the tie rod ends or sway bar links, nope. Also the inner CV boot was torn from driving with bad motor mount so that's getting replaced also. NP
