cant put gas into car pump shuts off 2003 c240 SOLVED
Just in the past week when I try to fill my car the gas pump shuts off (tried a few different stations) I get about 2 liters in and it shuts off if I pull the pump nozzle out a bit its ok but if I go full blast gas overflows from filler neck
so any ideas? 2003 c240 4matic wagon 195,000km NO check engine light I scanned the car no codes no gas smell seems to be running fine

I had a similar problem with my Porsche Boxster. It was a valve in the fuel filler system. I am not sure if the Mercedes system is similar, but that may provide a starting point for diagnosis.

well I have no codes or pending codes I would like to think if there was an evap problems something would show up.... I guess ill pull the tire remove wheel well liner and start testing stuff....

solved
I pulled rr wheel and well liner and looked at the evap canister noticed a "vent" looking hole that was filled with a spider web cleared it out filled car with gas no problem
