2001 Benz c32 and won’t start
I Was wondering if you guys would know or be able to give some clues to troubleshoot a problem with a c32 mag that has 217k km that won’t start. There was a Benz repair shop in my country that said that they had found the problem and it was the fuel pump. Ok so the fuel pump was replaced but car still won’t start! The timing chain has recently been changed, what would be the first things to check other than the crank position sensor?

To go from a CPS to a timing chain is wild speculation---why not start with the basics--a=do the plugs get spark? yes or no------what is it?????

Yes I could easily check for those simple things like if it’s getting spark but there must be a reason why the shop wanted to replace the fuel pump. The reason should be that the car is not getting fuel so I am wondering if there are some relays, wiring or fuses to the pump that I should check. Cps was just the first thing in mind when thinking why would the car not be getting fuel from the pump. Thanks any information about what things to check for are appreciated! There must be few guys here that has experienced the same with those c32 amg’s
