New Fuel Pump (s)?

Hey all,
The fuel pump died in my 2007 C280 4Matic so we decided to install a new one. We ordered a new Bosch 67494 (MB # 2034702394), which is supposed to be an exact fit OEM part on the passenger side. Unfortunately, the wiring harness does not fit, but that's not a problem for my mechanic. The problem is, the the right angle output nozzle is larger than the straight original and does not fit the hose that comes from the sender on the driver side.

What's the best way to solve this problem? I don't mind replacing the sending unit on the driver's side as well, but the sending units either have the wrong nozzles on the top, or they do not fit the nozzle on the pump. I also don't mind buying another pump, as long as it's an exact fit. Or if there is an adapter available that would be great too.

Any help or ideas would be most appreciated, thanks.

Go to Mercedes dealer. Compare connector on your Bosch to their pump. And compare it to the one that you will take a photo of on your old pump,
and post back here.

Most of he late 2007 models use the very early W204 fuel pumps and sending units and there are few different configurations depending on build, so your best bet is to take your VIN to your MB dealer and get the right pump for your car. MB recommends replacing both at the same time, and I concur, as I replaced my pump only, and it was not too long down the road, where my sending unit started leaking.

Solved

Thank you for your replies.

My mechanic pulled the original fuel pump on the passenger side, and I was able to locate an exact replacement. Most of the websites that I consulted said that it was not correct for my car. However it fits perfectly. The part number is 2094700294. The dealership wanted 750 for both units, however online they were about 200 each.

I hope that this information is helpful to someone in the future.
