PLay DVD movies on 05 nav?
I was reading the manual and it stated that the dvd nav is capable of playing dvd movies;however, for safety reasons, the video will not display. Is there a crack or program out there that would allow us to watch dvd movies on our navs? cheers.

The US DVD Comand head unit does not pay DVD disk. Currently only European DVD Comand has the capability. It has different drive in the head unit.
With that said, even Euro-DVD-Comand will turn off the screen once the car reach 5mph+. You have to disable the security inter-locks which US dealers are not able to do...only STEVE, NavTV, or someone who has the older version StarDiag system.

You can always modify the Regional setting on the DVD headunit. Not sure you can mod to regionless setting.
