Due for Texas emissions test, got codes p0101, p0112 p0221
2003 C240 87k miles
Car is due for Texas emissions inspection. Recently it threw codes Current fault p0101, & Pending p0112 & p0221. CEL came on 2 weeks ago then went away. Idle has been just a little poor.
Unplugged MAF, cleared faults, tested again and now only the pending remain. What does it mean when the fault p0101 clears after unplugging MAF? I have ordered a new Bosch 0280217515, bought it with a Chinesium MAF.
My question is the emissions readiness did not change. Texas can only allow 2 incompletes, I have 5. Will the new MAF cause these to reset, or is this an entirely different matter? If the latter where to start?

I complete redibess monitors will go away after you put some miles on the car. There is a drive procedure but if your car is functioning normally they go away in normal driving. Every time you erase codes the incomplete readiness monitors will come back.

It all seems to be MAF related.
Did you try cleaning it 1st?
You're lucky you can have any 2 not set?
ha, I just went through 6 months of hell in Cali to get
all mine to go to green. Only one they allow is Evap.
I ended up needing a new recirculating air valve at the bargain price of $350 from bosch (which then failed again, and got
new one under warranty) vs. $1500 from the dealer, and a new Cat, purchased online for $150 and installed for $60.
+ 7 months of random driving arrgh. After 6 months if you get caught driving they can impound the car.
Crapping bricks it finally kicked over after driving to Fresno and back.
