New C230K Sedan owner!
Hello all, I have just traded in my 2000 Lexus RX300 for an 04 C230K Sedan with 6 speed manual. black on black, sunroof package, sound, and sport package. I love the car. I decided against the 05 because of the free maintenance. Although I like the ring around the speedometer, I like the really short needle on the 04 better. I also don't like the buttons on the 05 steering wheel cause they look painted.
I love this car, the 17" 5 spoke wheel and bigger brakes look so nice. I went to the casino with my friend in his 330ci and 19" chromes... We both valeted it and his went to the parking lot while my baby was left right in front of the casino. :-) So far no complaints and 15% tint's going on the car this weekend. my friend with an FX35 and another one with CLK320 both love my car more than theirs. I can't be happier.
Several questions, what are the codes for my options? Like the C1, C2, C3 thing... Also since i have the 6 CD Changer, does that mean I have the upgraded stereo also? O and what are some mods for the 1.8L? thank you very much!

I know!!! My friend with an 02 CLK320 is jealous now and he's actually considering seriously about trading it in for an 05 C230 Kompressor Sedan with 6 speed manual (they're out of 04.5 manuals since I bought the one and only 04.5 manual haha)
Every time he sees my car he says god damn it... nice car! can I drive it? which makes me feel really special since it's coming from someone who's got a car that's almost twice the price.

He's got the C230 sport also but his wheels are the 7 spoke ones? And he doesn't have the exhaust or the big brake kit... Hey and thanks on the comment about not getting an 05, like I said, I don like the instrument cluster. When the C first came out in 01, I fell in love with that new speedometer, how brilliant... Kake the needle shorter so you can have more room for other stuff like an LCD in the middle of it! And yeah, I'm happy with mine :-) The only thing I regret on impulse buying it is I didn't have any C-Spot Coupon!!!
O, and is there any mods for the 1.8? Pulley or chip? Lighter flywheel or something? Thanks :-)

Congrats on the new kompressor...welcome to the club. THere is a pully kit for the 1.8L but its really expensive. YOu can get your car chipped tho. That will cost a few hundred dollars. Do you have bi-xenon head lights? I would suggest getting those first. Makes your car look 10x better! Good luck with the new ride. And don't get frustrated when the electrical bug starts....hahaha..
