No Electrics key wont turn in ignition

w203 1.8 kompressor auto
No Electrics key wont turn in ignition
2003 W203 1.8 kompressor.
I noticed a whistle coming from the rear fuse box.
I did jump start car about 3 weeks ago direct to battery! after about 2 weeks the whistle started I have no electrics at all and car will not jump I have now found that direct jump to the battery is not good. Any Ideas please

How old is the battery? What's the voltage?
If you don't know, pick up a cheap voltmeter and find out.

Not sure how old the battery is but will check out the voltage.
