i first tried the climatronic unit number 203 890 0985. which works on some C coupes and C sedans but didnt work on mine. so i sold it to another person with a 2003 C coupe and it worked fine for him. when in my car it only blew hot air. the part i have now is 203 890 0585 which works great. steve said there is no rhyme or reason to which will work and which doesnt. it either eorks or doesnt. he told me if the first unit didnt work if i paid for shipping back to him he would then send me a new unit to try. worth a chance if you ask me for the upgraded look to the center console.

mine was $150 used. the insurance company paid for it after my accident since i had one initially. they run $300 brand new. the passenger side one i have was not as much since it is a non-dimming mirror, but still has the split which i like having. i only had the split mirror on my driver side in my VW.
