new 2004 C230 K owner
Traded in a 2001 VW GTi and picked up the car last weekend.. compared c240 and c230K, wife made the right decision to get 230..

it's an auto and premium sound package, 6-cd changer and moonroof..
I got pewter silver with grey interior.
lovely little car..
Just a quick and stupid question, with the 225/45/17 in front and 245/40/17 in the rear, how can I do the tire rotation?
Jason
As for the tyre rotation, that will not happen with the staggard set up from the factory!
J/k

Watch those tires my mazda had them and i had wierd problems with them..at 3,000 miles..It looked like someone had taken a carving nife and just cut chunks out of tread where the tread ends and the side wall begins
sounds like you need a camber kit... Look at the wheel/tire and see if it's perpendicular to the ground. Sometimes it's a little bit tilted which would cause one side of the tire to be used more than the other... I had that problem on my TL after I lowered it by 1.75"
any unusual load on the Mazda? I don't know, but since you don't have it it doesn't matter anymore... What do you expect from a Mazda anyway?

as far as tire rotation goes, just figure your saving the cost of having to do it, since you can't.

I hear ya... my friend's sister bought one to replace her Grand Am... It looks nice, but I never ride with her so I wouldn't know...

yes.. I do have michelin tires. and it shoud be the one you guys mentioned 2004.5..

I own a Mazda Protege5, 5sp manual, myself and I love it. The handling is good , at least compare with other japanese car in the same price range. Sad to hear someone has to trade in his Mazda 6 which only has 3500miles on it.
Anyway, I believe I will enjoy the ride...
After one week, wife only put 200 miles on it.....can't wait to break it in...
:p
