Question on ordering a car and using the C-Spot coupon

I looked around for a C230K sedan with the right options and color combo, but couldn't find one. Was thinking of ordering the car, but the dealer said it would take as soon as 3 months, and as long as 5 months to get the car.

Question is, I want to use the C-Spot coupon, but it expires 3 months after the event. Will the dealer apply the coupon at the time the order is placed, or do they apply it at the time of delivery?

you should be able to give the coupoon to the dealer at the time you order your car. you have to put down a deposit when you order it. the only bad thing about that, since you now have used the $1500 off coupon, if there are any other incentives you may not recieve them. ordering a car is the way to go. thats what i did. the car is everything you want, built for you and no one test drove or anything like that. it's well wortht the wait. i watched mine get offloaded when it arrived, very cool thing.

I seriously doubt you will be able to use the coupon if it comes after the expiration date as it requires MB financing and they can't finance a car you can't take delivery of so unless they get the car sooner you are outa luck. My dealer thought they could get away with it but got snagged and had to redo the contract, same terms with MB finance.

What you really need to do is find a dealer that has a car similar to what you want already on order as some things are changable within a certain time period. You may get your car in one month that way.

i doubt you will get as good a deal with ordering it. if they car is already on a lot ready to be sold you have a better chance of getting a better deal.
