damn! I didn't even know lowenhart made wheels like that. I just chose the Alessios because they look a little like the AMG 2 spoke wheels.
After looking at the lowenharts.. man, they are exactly the same eh???
Alessio wheel here (Made in Italy?)

Lowenhart Wheel here (Made in Japan?)

hehehe more or less identical, cept the almost $500 difference per wheel

Dr. Chill, you are right, they just launched the sponsorship program nationwide per request of their future US regional distributors (so far, they only contacted CA distributors). That's why the price is much lower than the listed price. But I believe, they only give out 100 sets to the 1st 100 US buyers. Starting from mid July, we shall see these wheels to be available on the east coast as well because they will grand some distributors there by then. As far as I know, 1 guy in NY has ordered a set in SBC 20". Originally posted by Dr Chill

The 1st shipment is coming at the end of June or the begining of July. Type G is already in the showroom, and there are at least 5-6 sets of Type R, which is on the picture above coming in Silver Polished, Black Polished, SBC (Special Black Chrome - a special color code in Japan - I've NEVER seen personally) & DEEP BLUE (1 lucky guy - student - has got a set in BLUE
:o
I am so so so jealous that I will become the 2nd person in the US owning the BLUE wheels in the US for my future E / CLK - I haven't decided which one to go for but WHITE w/ P Roof for sure. I plan to get during 7/4 promotion time, hopefully I can get several G's off
I will go to check out those rims in different colors when they arrived

Just for your referrence, the official Amistad website is underconstruction, which I think is being developed in Japan:
www.AmistadUSA.com
I checked constantly but was informed that it won't be done till July.
When the website is done, I believe that's when they will have most of their dealer accounts set up nationwide. That's their internal decision with Japan so I am not sure, but after the regional distributors are granted, I guess we can no longer get wheels directly through them
But those 100 lucky sponsored people can still earn referral $$$ for their life time - that's what I've been told - I will be 1 of them
Yeh, free $$$
I hope that the sponsorship program can last longer so I don't have to be in a hurry to get a new MB soon :o

Your just mad because you know if your car could talk, it would demand that you remove your rims and send them to me in California. To escape the dust and heat of Vegas. Originally posted by goldenbuddha

Heh heh, seriously tho, buying rims are like buying shoes, you'd hate em if you don't get the right ones.... well you could always change em..
I agree........better to get it right the first time.....
