new carlsson wheels for the sportcoupe?

what do you think?

"The 1/16 Ultra Light made by Carlsson is available in a very lightweight (as it has been forged) version as 19 inch and 20 inch wheels. The 8,5 x 19 wheel weighs a mere 10,2 kg.
The engineers at Carlsson, who customize Mercedes-Benz automobiles, were prudent in their choice of the multiple spoke wheel 1/16 Ultra Light, as when reducing the weight of the wheel the base weight of the multiple spoke wheel is significantly less than that of a disc wheel. In addition, forged wheels of the same size and the same maximum wheel load, are considerably lighter than cast wheels. The forging method also increases the density of the material and therefore the forces introduced are passed on more homogeneously that in a cast wheel. To improve driving comfort Carlsson engineers have developed the 1/16 Ultra Light wheel design in a forged version to keep the unsprung mass on the suspension as low as possible. Conventional alloy wheel rims are approximately 50% heavier than this ultra-lightweight exclusive wheel. A 8,5 x 20 inch wheel weighs a mere 11,5 kg. It was developed together with FOMP APP, one of the largest forgeries in the USA known also for supplying parts to NASA and Boeing for whom they manufacture space and aircraft parts.
The wheel 1/16 Ultra Light with forged aluminium alloy is polished , coated with mat transparent lacquer and available from € 1.439,- . "

Carlsson has 8,5 x 19 inch wheels and 9,5 x 19 inch wheels for the following Mercedes Benz models: W203, W210, W208, W220, C215, R230, W211 and W209 (nee E-class). The 9,5 x 20 inch wheel version of the 1/16 Ultra Light wheel is available for the following models: W220, C215 and R230.

Lowered C230K with those wheels will look sharp. I would like to have the 19" ones but at over $3500.00 Canadian they are little pricey..

i'd get those if i could afford them. They look really good and as mentioned a clean drop would do them even more justice.

also, 19's would look soooooooooo good

Definitely group buy on these they are outrageously expensive. Performance wise these are the ones I've been waiting for.

I am not a big Carlsson fan, but I do like those wheels. 19's would be a little big for my tastes; maybe one day they will make those is 18's and the price would be somewhat more reasonable.
