On the coupe it's worth it as the leather option gives you premium leather over cloth. What bugs me is that the premium leather option is the same price on the sedan but it give you more leather on already leather seats, does that make sense?

i like the leather in my coupe. i also like the tight leather on the door panels rather than the bunchy look.

I dont think its worth the 1500 for the average quality of the leather, then again I cant imagine a Mercedes without Leather interior, average or not.

I'm really glad I got the premium leather in my coupe. After a year it still looks as good as the day I bought it. That's more than I can say for Honda's, Acura's, and VW's. If you go looking, you can find cloth at the attachment points, but that is normal.

i heard the fake leather is actually better. doesn't crack in the heat as easily, more durable, etc.

The sport version IS lower. my grandfather has the 240 and it's definitely higher than my 230 sport.
