Hi,
I bought a 2003 C230 Sport with low 88k miles, but there are a few issues I was hoping you might be able to guide me on.
I bought a 2003 C230 Sport with low 88k miles, but there are a few issues I was hoping you might be able to guide me on.
- Check engine light. Previous owner brought to MB dealer for diagnosis. Code 201C, car is running rich, found crankcase ventilation check valve (is this the PCV?) blowup and hoses are worn out and leaking. "this is the car trying to enrich to compensate for the additional air let in by the bad parts.
- Battery dies quickly (overnight) when car is off, only when doors are locked. This was not diagnosed, but someone mentioned that it might be related to a security system microswitch.
