Brabus vs. '05

Brabus vs. '05
Alright,
I went to my first MB dealership today. Yeah baby!!! I went to Fletcher Jones and the salesman was awesome. He wasn't pushy, answered all my questions, let me look at the car without trying to make a sale. Overall, very pleasant experience. I saw two cars that I really liked. One was an '05 with sunroof, cd changer, garage, etc. The price on this one was $34,250. The other car was an '04 C240 Brabus for a little over $36,000. Which car would you get and why? Also which car do you think I could get a better deal on and how much do you think I can get off?

personally, i would get the 05, i prefer more of an overall stock OEM appearance. yes i have mods, and continue to mod, but a majority of them are MB mods, to keep my car looking stock, though with many subtle changes i like to think. thats just me, there are many out there who would take the brabus vehicle. i really like the 05 interior and granted no more free service, but if it were me id take the 05.

Or better get the C230K sedan 04.5 for a great deal if they have one, then drive it to Brabus down the street and mod it yourself.
The suspension on the 04.5 C230K is great and It will look fine with stock springs and some Brabus V1's
V1's are around 6 K.. And the C230K sedan should be around 30K
Tires will run around 600 for 19's

I just drove by Fletcher, some kid was getting a test drive in a 05 silver C230K sedan.. I was turning left facing him, he was turning right, I looked at the kid and he looked at my C32 and took off right on to Mcarthur and up to the 73, Well on the ramp from Mcarthur to the 73 its a 2 lane over pass twisty I rolled up the car and the kid actually tried to race me with the salesman,, I smoked that thing soo bad.. I wonder if I blew the sale for the guy..lol
First kill..more to come.. not really a fair kill but the kid tryed to step.

I was at 100 in seconds through the last turn and could not even see him around the bend..
When I got on the freeway I could see him and he was still on it, but way behind me.

The 2005 Sports Sedan for $34K, was it the Borduex Red don't buy it cause it's mine all mine
They had a white 2005 too, but the Borduex Red was beautiful.
You want a good deal, get that Orion Blue C240 Sedan that is a 2003 model. Been sitting near the showroom floor for 9 months. But don't offer over $25K.
Do your homework, get firm prices from Laguna and other MB dealers. Fletcher Jones can beat anyones price, they are the largest seller of MB's in the world, 4 times as much as the next dealer, so they get more factory incentives.
Also ask for Armin, he is their number one saleman, offers the best deals and treats you great.
Last April I went in with 8 firm prices from 6 different dealers, I got nearly $7,000 off on a Coupe.
If you want a 2004.5 Sports sedan with 6 speed stick, Laguna had some at $25K

25K for a 04.5 C230K?? Damm these cars get cheap fast..
Yup the C32 W/O the res sounds awsome, especially in a downshift, with walls around the road..

That same car on the lot but used is more!! Go figure.
These dealers have lots of incentives to move the 2004.5's off the lot from MB.
Buellwinkle got a purty one for $25K, less than what he paid for his coupe a couple of years ago.
