If you mean that you replaced the halogen low beam with an led, than putting a halogen bulb back in should be your first attempt at a repair. As salt shaker states, the system is expecting the bulb to draw more current than an led. The system is interpreting the low current draw as a burned out bulb or some other defect.

That said, my 2006 BMW 530xi had bi-xenon headlights (also adaptive, and they'd auto-level, and turn left and right based on the steering wheel position). The "high beam" bulb was there ONLY for the "flash to pass" function, nothing else. So the only time they'd light up was when pulling the lighting stalk back (toward the seat).
