C230 Kompressor

Key Fob

Hello, My 2002 Mercedes C230 Kompressor key fob is not working. I can't lock, Unlock my doors or open the trunk. The battery in the fob lights up when the i press the button but not opening anything? Any ideas what i need to do to fix the problem...Thanks

try a new battery just cause light is on does not mean she has enough power.

is the car battery charged enough? i had an issue on mine where battery was drained and key didn t work, i replaced the battery of the fob cause i thought like you but still nothing. opened door manually (with metal key inside fob) magnetic lock for for didn t take. so i opened the bonnet checked the battery with a volt metre and it was flat, charged it overnight installed it alarm went off fob worked first time then and still works at least till this morning.
