M112 DIY service @ 195K miles

Good Evening all!

Been away for a while, but thought I would ask the 'group think' about any additional work I should do to my M112 engine. The 2005 C320 car really been a dream car with zero headache. I think she has another 100K miles in her, easy!

I am planning to:
  • Replace my (leaking) valve cover gaskets (Genuine OEM)
  • Reseal my breather covers (Mercedes 003989982010)
  • Replace the spark plugs (Bosch 7422)
  • Replace the Spark Plug Wires (Karlyn/STI-643)

Since I replaced a faulty ERG valve a little over a year ago, I have new(ish) breather tubes, so I think they will be ok to reuse... Not too brittle.

Anything I should preventatively attack while I am 'in it'?

I just completed the B-Service and put new front suspension and rear shocks in... But given I may be handing this car of to my kid for use at school in Phoenix this summer, should I replace anything with the cooling system? (Thermostat, hoses, etc?) Everything is original.

Many Thanks!

Tim
