Hi all - I am new to the forum, we bought a 2005 C230 for our daughter back in high school and it has now passed back to me and I love the style....I would like to have bluetooth for my phone and I have investigated how to do this but am not smart enough to figure it out....i opened up the console and found two cables - 1 is a 10-pin plastic connector and the other is a single pin metal connector - see pictures, the multi-pin cable has a LEONI cable label on it....anyone know what i am looking at? I am not certain that the products referenced in this link are still available. I think many people have opted to install aftermarket units that provide more capabilities.
In my sons 07 I got a 3.5mm jack and plugged it into the port into the glovebox. I then bought a generic Bluetooth adaptor so now he can stream music and even make calls wirelessly. It does have some minor glitches but way easier than swapping out the whole system.

Can you share with me that where did you get the 3.5 mm jack and Bluetooth adaptor and how did you install them? I have a 07 C280 and I want to add Bluetooth to it but have no clue so far yet.

it’s just a generic one off eBay. Plugged it into that port and used the ignition trigger for the 6 disc changer
