Range on a c240

Anyone know what the size of the fuel tank is on a c240? Also what is the maximum range the car will go on a tank of gas until the low fuel light goes on?

Fuel tank...

...size is 62 Litres. That's 16.38 gallons US.

Actually, it's too small for a car with a relatively thirsty engine like the V-6 - most other EU cars in this class carry 70 or 72 litres.

You'd be lucky to get 600 km (370 miles) out of a tankful, averaging 10 L/100 km and with a tiny amount left in reserve.

Too bad they don't sell the Diesels here, they'd be good for 900 km.

Even my Peugeot 405 (65 L tank) goes 800 km on every tank, and that's with a gas engine, 87 octane fuel. Mind you it's not a Benz, nor does it have 168 HP.
