I understand the 98-03 SLK230 komp is the same 2.3L M111 engine as 02 c230k coupe. So I was wondering will my Kleeman alloy pulley kit be direct fit on the slk230? What other parts are same btwn the two cars? ECU programs? tranny? I tried the MBworld SLK forum but not very active at all. Also, does anyone know how reliable is the SLK230k 98-03? thnx

Your pulley will fit the post facelift 2000 SLK230. From what I understand, the alt pulley from the coupe won't fit the SLK so they will have to run with a smaller belt and no alt pulley change or order the slk alt pulley only from Kleemann. As for forums, the best SLK forum is benzworld.org.

thanks Buell, thats what i wanted to hear. this gives me more choice of car when lease end. are the wheels same bolt pattern/offset btw w203 and SLK? what about springs and AMG c32 brake kit? thnx and how's the new ride?

hey citron...man love that color!...not really i just know i want something small, sporty, tunable (somewhat...not extreme), look good, and btwn $20-25k. I've never had a convertible or a roadster so possibly MRsypder or SLK230 (used so i can put my pulley n some other stuff).

cool. i like the SLK's im just too tall for them, 6'2" and the seats dont go back far enough for me.
