What kind of a fabric on the seats of c180 2005
Hi all what are the seats of c180 2005 made of? mb-tex, leather or? Also what to use to maintain it and protect it from harsh sun and general wear down?

If they are like the seats that came in my C230, the seating surface (center section on the front of the seat) is leather and the rest is MB Tex. I used Lexol on the leather part. The remainder I cleaned with a damp cloth.

SO there is two different types of fabric used? Do you use a microfiber cloth or a cotton towel?

This is a picture of the seat that came in my car. The center part (with perforations) is leather. The rest of it is MB-Tex. I use a cotton cloth to clean both materials. I have had inadvertently sprayed Lexol on the MB-Tex. It does not seem to bother the MB-Tex.
