2007 c230 white smoke seafoam clogged cat
ok, so I have a 2007 c230, originally it had a really rough idle and wouldn't start. I felt like it was a coolant temp sensor or crankshaft position sensor. the cat converters had been clogged for awhile. I got it started and changed the plugs, the pcv valve which was bypassing a small amount of oil I replaced aswell. I then did a seafoam treatment to try to clean out the cat among other things. So I did the treatment and couldn't get it to smoke much at all. So I realized the cats must be really clogged up. so I took the exhaust off, beat the cat material out through the o2 sensor hole with a punch. I then pressure washed the piping before I put it back together. I dried it out but only for an hour. whatever the second cat is it wasn't blocking anything, it only had material where the piping expanded. now at this point I feel like I may still have water in here.
I put it back together and did another treatment and it smoked a lot this time. in the middle of treatment there became a hole in radiator and it started shooting fluid out the front. I then changed the radiator
