I am not sure of the purpose of the blue connector. Do you think it could have something to do with a seat memory? Check to see whether it connects to something that appears to be a control unit. If it has a part number that might help identify the function.
In my U.S. car, the passenger seat has two air bag (yellow) connectors and the driver seat has one. If the passenger seats you have are like the ones in the U.S., they have an occupancy sensor system that signals the air bag system when someone above a certain weight is in the seat. If there isn’t anyone in the seat or there is a small person (child) in the seat who would be harmed by the air bag deployment, the system won’t deploy the passenger air bag in the event of an accident. In U.S. cars there isn’t an occupancy sensor in the driver’s seat.
One reason that your connectors don’t match is that in a U.K. car the passenger and driver positions are swapped, so the occupancy sensor is in the left seat rather than the right. There may also be changes to the design over the intervening years.
For the air bag connectors, I suggest that you explore swapping the seat bottoms between the driver and passenger seats.
