2006 c230 (w203) parked 3months, dead battery
Hello everyone, new to this & need some guidance.
2006 C230 sprt was parked and not moved since. Est 3months. No power anywhere, the whole car was as if it were without a battery, had to manually unlock with the key in the fob. So i went to start it up but nothing came on at all. Tried jump starting it.
First attempts I used the Red Cap PositiveTerminal (not the batteries) thats intended to jumpstart & used the negative on the ground terminal touching the cars body. once I connected the jumper cables and the other car was on, the car lit up and all normal as you would first get in the car once youve unlocked it, turned the key and didnt want to turn, Not enough juice I supposed and retard me thinks " Im just going to hook up the cables directly on the battery terminals. So i did that, hopped in and tried starting it and wasnt enough.
took the battery out and took it to autozone, left it all day and night as it was a deepcell battery etc. Anyways, next day i get the battery, autozone dude says its good asfuk, im like *** yea bro. Went home, hooked the battery up and still no signal anywhere, as if the car had no battery in it whatso ever. Im like wtf, so i get my moms car to jump it and only when i hooked up the cables (not to the battery but the proper terminals to jump it) did it show the dash light up normal. Almost got it to start, it actually did for about a good 5seconds then died out and havent been able to start it since. Wtf could it be. The cables from the battery to the. Fuse junction box by the battery thingy.
