And keep in mind, while most people here are hardcore M-B fanatics, most people really aren't car buffs (hence all the Camrys that are sold in this country). I don't think it will be a sales disaster. Basically (and sadly), slap a three-pointed star on anything and it will sell for just that reason.

either way, i don't bother to compare'em. The only match up i can think of are C32/C55 vs M3 vs S4, E55 vs M5 vs RS6 vs StypeR, XJR vs S55, M-roadster vs SLK32, and that's about it.

i didnt mean in looks. i love the CL! i meant in overall funtion, large 4 seat coupe, just as the CL. the rear seat in the 6 is pretty useless though compared to the large rear seat of the CL.
and the 6 is more of a 5 series coupe too, but IMO is more 7 series sized. i again agree with frank, when comparisons are done in the mags, more than likely it will be CL verses 6, not CLK verses 6.
