Stupid Service Advisor!!!!
here's my story i gotta vent:
My first advisor left (great advisor), then my second advisor left (great guy as well). Now here is where i get heated. I call and make an appointment for my service B and find out my service advisor left so i make him with someone else. I get there and the guy makes me wait for 30 minutes just sitting there waiting for him to do god knows what. I get heated and politely ask to get a different advisor. Guy seems nice until about 30 minutes ago when he calls and tell me he is about to charge $620!!! for front brakes and front rotors. And then he says and i would change the rear if i were you but you can wait until the light comes on. Now the light didn't come on to begin with in the first place and $620??? does it really cost that much? can anyone help me out here? Oh and the reason why i think he is screwing me is cuz i changed the damn brakes a little over 6 thousand miles ago

I had the same thing happen to me (except my cost was 420$ or so). The claim was that the rotors wore out before the brake pads and that is why the sensor didn't warn me. It sounds like bull**** and I plan on talking to the factory rep about all the problems I have had with the car and the dealership.
No complaints on the service guy, just the car. =)

if he's trying to get you to change out your front rotors as well, you might as well drive them til they're gone.
a full brake job here in Canada (rotors, pads, sensors on all four corners, plus labor and 15% tax) is hovering around Cdn$1000 by the way.

I agree just run them down till they spark at night... And for that price,
you might as well go for some better quality Brembos, or C32 AMG brakes.
