I have an 01 w203 c200k with m111 engine and manual transmition. I had an intermittetent cel with turbo/supercharger solenoid a and it appeared after having a moment of no power when accelerating, but i would reset the code and still worked, i cleaned the bypass flap (highlited in a yellow circle) but it still happened from time to time. Whilst i was cleaning i removed the silencor thing in the supercharger.
ANyway last week i had a red dash with check alternator/battery so i did. took out alternator and replaced the voltage regulator including brushes. Due to space restrictions i removed the supercharger to make life easier... it made it harder cause now the car makes a louder whine and has no power. Before i used to spin the wheels on 1 through 3rd now if i launch fast it almost dies. I checked to see if i left any pipes unconnected but all seem connected fine.
When i use tourqe pro to read live data boost only goes to 2psi max but this was since i bought the car about 8 months ago.
I found a diagram including a test to check the voltage on the bypass flap connector via pins 2 and 3 - voltage was within range 5v if i m not mistaken.
I have the oil catch can pipe cracked, i ordered one but it is not yet installed as i m waiting for delivery. Does this affect power? i don t think it should but ....
Does anyone know the part numbers of the red ring seal that is in the manifold and bypass (highlited in a red circle that s the one i m talking about)
