tjts1: It depends where he lives. Those of us that have to put up with a lot of snow, and hence sand on the roads, have the headlights on their cars beat the ******** out of! In real life, NONE of those BS methods/kits that people post on the web does a f**********ing thing against a real winter with real sand and salt on the roads.
OEM headlights have a light top coating that protects the cheap *ss plastic underneath.
Imho, GM makes pure cr*p for cars/trucks/SUVs/anything. But, many of their cars have very easy to replace headlight assemblies. On my luxo-barge Olds, each headlight assembly is held in by two big plastic easy to remove/install slide clips.
