Are breaks/rotors covered under scheduled maintenance???

Hello All,

Quick couple of questions:

Are the breaks/rotors covered under the scheduled maintenance?
If not ...how long do they last under normal driving?
reason I am asking is my BMW 3-series had all this stuff covered until 50k miles....

Thanks...

unfortunatly not and i found this out the hard way a week ago. I got my pads replaced at like 8 thousand miles for like $100 cuz the service advisor was a family friend and didn't try and screw me over but last week i paid around 500 for front rotors and brake pads all around because i drive and this was at 18 thousand miles.

My pads were changed at 24K. They probably would have lasted longer, but the service advisor recommended changed them during my last service B as he didn't think they'd last until the next servicing.
