Help Removing Air Intake Hose

Help Removing Air Intake Hose
Hi Guys,

First time posting here as I need some help and I can't find the answer through searching the forum.

I'm trying to remove the air intake hose but I can't remove the left side intake, it's clipped in by what seem to be two plastic teeth and I've tried pulling straight out like some people have recommended but it feel like I'll snap these teeth off.

Please see the pics attached and any help would be awesome:
