Ben, I'll be up on Monday 1PMish to pick up C32 AMG brakes. Let me know details about properly bedding the brakes. Got my rear AMG sway bar, but still waiting for forward AMG sway bar... Thinking of those H&R Coils too vice AMG suspension mod ! Maybe I should wait and install alltogether. ????

If you want to eliminate roll better I would go with the H&R Sways.

I don't get much roll as it is with the COUPE. Maybe I just don't know any better, because I don't know what IS better. I figure AMGs will work better than stock, and H&R Sways will probably feel better than AMGs, so it's all a trade-up issue.

As far as H&R Coils vs AMG Suspension.... I'm still undecided and not really sure what I want. I'm not going circuit racing, but I do want a good ride when I'm taking those 75mph+ curves. I want to lower my front end 1-1.5 inches, and my rear by .5-1 inch. I think the AMG suspension will give me that ( somebody please chime in to correct me ), but at the same time I keep hearing on these boards that H&R Coils are SO much better and blah blah blah technical stuff that I still don't understand. Like I said, I'm not going to be running Laguna Seca any time soon, but do want the "semi-lowered look" and some sort of roll/sway control. So that's why I had opted for the AMG sways & AMG suspension from the get go. If H&R Coils are better (and hence pricier), I want to know what the big difference is. If it's too subtle, then I'll just go for the AMG stuff.

Those who know about AMG Sways / AMG Suspension vs H&R Coils please chime in !! What should I get ??? Start a new thread, so not to hijack on Citron's AMG Brakes.

I'll get pictures of mine posted once they're installed too ! They should look sweet with my chrome AMG Style IV wheels... can't wait !

Where did you get the brakes from? Was it from the group buy?

The big AMG brakes + cross-drilled rotors look great!

No spacers in the front needed, right?

I'll keep this brief to keep the topic on track, but Carlos, why not just drive Vadim's car next time you are here?

OK, back to brakes

Ben,
thanks for the suggestion, and the ride in Vadim's AMG was AWESOME !!! I'm definitely bent on the H&R COs and starting up my lemonade stand today to raise some funds. Man, those corners were tight.

--- break ---
Next up that HP Pulley Kit, and adding to my wishlist: the KLEENMAN Blower upgrade !! That kept me up all night ! Going to calm down now and order those silver bulbs for the taillights. THANKS !!!

--- break ---
Having the AMG C32 Brakes installed this week hopefully; will post pics....

By the way, thanks to you and EVOSPORT for this great group-buy opportunity.

Citron,
Yes, I believe they are PHILIPS silver bulbs that blink amber.
I have the part # and website at home. Ordering tonight.

I tried similar ones out at EVOSPORT yesterday, and they look great.
Installed them temporarily to see how they looked.
Just the ones they had in stock at the moment weren't bright enough,
so Ben recommended these brighter ones.
I think I'll take a "before & after" picture to post later.

Carlos

silver vision are great. they are as bright as std indicators and have no orange hue to them. yet they still blink amber, which i like because i hate blue/white indicators.
