Chrome mirrors from ebay?

When I first got my COUPE, I bought the SCHATZ mirror housing chrome covers, the SCHATZ door handle chrome shells, and the SCHATZ headlight rings. My car is Brilliant Silver and thought these would look OK. But when I got them, I simply placed them with temp tape to see how they would look, and I immediately opted to send them back, except for the headlight rings.
Why did I keep the headlight rings? I thought it filled nicely the gap left between the lights and the hood. The front grill had a bit of chrome trim to it, so it kinda matched and gave the car that classy MB look. But now with my new '05 Sport Grill, I am thinking of removing the headlight rings, painting them MB 744 Brilliant Silver, and putting them back on. Since I'll be getting Bi-Xenons in the near future, I'll wait til then. For now, I'm running around with SCHATZ chrome headlamp rings.
The mirror housing covers and door handle shells, I wouldn't even bother.
By the way, if they are not SCHATZ, the eBay ones are a piece of crap, with
the chrome chipping quickly away, and the tape they use to secure them with doesn't hold after 3 months. This I've read from those who bought 'em.

plus it doesnt cover the housing entirely. the paint just behind the indicator going to the edge of the housing will show thru. they dont look good like they do on the S4, S6.
