Smile Technical Service Experience

Speaking of the technical service people at my dealership, I think they are like their sales counterpart, but they do their job well though. My seat started to make a really loud click sound after they delivered my car for a couple weeks and the easy exit feature stopped working. I brought my car in to have them look at it. They immediately ordered a new seat frame and replaced it right after it came in. Both times, it took me less than an hour to get the car back. They even washed it.

On the other hand, there were times when they don't know what they're doing. I told them I wanted the trunk drawer installed in my car, and the labor cost they quoted me was 700 bucks I basically ignored them and called another dealership down in Illinois for a second opinion. I decided that I should probably install it when I move down to the Windy City.

I called them again today regarding the activation of bi-xenons if I install them. The service advisor was kind of wishy-washy and babbled a bunch of crap that makes no sense, like "it's going to void your warranty of that part if you change your setting". I told him I'm going to come in with my lights installed and show him how to do it. Thanks to this forum and Steve, I think I can teach them how to do it.

driver seat frame. about 8 months after i took delivery. the plastic trims pieces were always breaking and they continuously replaced them until they decided to look further into the problem.

I had the same problem, and they decided to replace it once and for all. Maybe they've seen that problem before. I always hear a click noise and some resistance when I use the easy exit feature before the replacement.
