i would luv to grab a lcd for my car
but i m debating on what i should get


recently i got a really good offer for a sony screen/head unit combo.. but the COMAND is also really attractive since i can retain my steering wheel buttons


just a simple question, aside from the COMAND, are there any other units out there that would support the steering buttons ? without extensive mods ??

contact www.crutchfield.com. last time i talked to them they were telling me some company was going to be coming out with an adapter to allow you to still use your steering wheel buttons. im pretty sure its out now.

 

IMO, stick with the COMAND. i like mine for the OEM look.

now w/ the COMAND, there is the US on one and EURO one..

which do you guys perfer ? i read over the differences from steve's site

now to me the only difference is when the TV tuner is installed, the US one will display German menus where as the EURO will display english and german...

what do you think ? since without the TV tuner, the screen is sorta useless (can't play DVDs, no A/V inputs) i will most likely need to purchase that too...
