ok well yesterday my x and i went out to lunch to talk about our current break up. she was telling me that one of her guy friends let her drive his 350z and she loves that thing. she worships it she talks about how nice and fast it is but never really ever said nothing about my car. yah, i know my car is slow as crap but still. what would you guys have said.

Too each there own I guess. It really does not matter to you does it? I mean she is your X! I find in life that it is better to just let **** go and not ponder some things. That way I just don't care if someone likes my car or stuff better than someone esle's. And yes the 350Z would be faster, but that does not make it better. Sure I could have bought a faster car but legally you can't go over 65MPH so what is the point or getting there in 5 seconds as apposed to 7 or so? I got time man! But I would not worry about it, maybe she just assumed that you already knew she liked your car! Not everything revolves around you! And no I did not mean that as a personal attack, more as a fact of life in general and not directed specifically at you!

Well IMO it's not even worth it... so what? She likes the 350 because it's nicer? faster? tells you right off the bat what kind of person she is. Not much he can do about that... even if he went out and get a C55, then what? Next time she sees somebody driving a CL or CLS, she's gonna jump ship.

I'd say the hell with her... if she's that superficial, punch her in the throat (figuratively, of course ) or ride her until the wheels fall off and don't bother with getting attached to her. Might seem shallow, but it's obviously not shallower than she is.

This all depends on what type of car you have a 230 or 320. If you have the 320 and all the options, well than your car has run you about 48,000 dollars. the z will always be a 30,000 dollar car unless it is the track modle wich is about 39,000. if it is a lesser modle than the track, tell her that you could have bought almost two of those with the price of your benz which is by the way one of the most prestigous cars on the road. My girl always calls yells at me for this but it always makes me feel better.

I agree with mick... I think she said it to make you jealous. She wants to feel the power that you still want her... but what you should do is just let her like the Nissan if that's her thing. Don't get worked up about it because she's just messing with your head. If she knows how important the car is to you and never made an effort to compliment you on it, then she's just not a very sensitive girl. I think you should just let it go.

 

just remember something: the ability to get girls is not by the car, nissan always will be nissan, and the fact that u drive a benz shows that u got more taste than the other guy, don't waste time with her, forget her...

on the other hand, there's another philosophy: get her, do her, dump her... haha...

 

1. It is obvious you still want her. Why else would you go to talk about the break up. You have to deal with that issue.
2. The 350zx issue, Its a new car!! Speed is not the fact. Everyone likes a new car or a different one that they are use to being in. There is nothing new about your car no matter how nice it is. If he had a 1986 5.0, it is new to her in terms of being in it.
3. Your car got you two where you needed to go, and that is not why you broke up. So eliminate the 350zx speed issue.
4. Or come borrow one of my toys If speed is going to get her back, but how are you going to keep her?
