check engine light on 2007 C230

My check engine light came on the other day and my dash is showing 185F outside which is not,
Also the AC stop blowing cold air. Nothing changed performance wise, car still runs the same.
Code reader is showing P0073,ambient temperature sensor. i replaced the sensor and tested the connector which is reading good and yet no results. Do you'll think my AC compressor or the clutch assembly?a is bad?
Not sure what is the next step but any recommendations or advice is highly appreciated. thank you in advance.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Where did you get the new sensor? Just because a part is new, doesn't mean it works.
Could be DOA. Is it a genuine part or a knock off? O o O o Riely?
Get another sensor. From the dealer. Or some arsehole might have returned their bad one...
OBD don't lie. It's not your AC.

Yeah, likely the part is just crap.
Don't buy Oreily parts for your Mercedes.
Likely they won't be correct.
If you need help getting parts,
PM me. Lots of cheap places to get Genuine parts.
No need to go to O O O O O Reily Auto Farts.
