I seem to have problem aligning it properly when I put the panel back. Any tips?
I went at it for a good 1-1.5hr with no luck

this was my biggest gripe when i was removing my trim. it's hard, and i had to constantly push and shove, but it finally popped back in.

I ran into a problem with these steps on my 06 c230. There is no screw cover under the arm rest. Not surprising since our cars are probably a few years apart. Anyone know where the hell the final screw is? I can't find it for the life of me.

Do you have a part number or place I can order the grill from?
I too have the "smashed in" grill from the seatbelt.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Front? Rear? Color?

2037270388 8g69- Drivers side rear speaker cover, oyster.
On the subject of the 2 year old post, where's the 2nd screw?
Ha, I recently BROKE the damn door panel as I failed to remove one of the screws, forgot it was there.
One is under the arm rest, the other under the SRS plastic bit. Just pop it out, and there's the screw.
(answer for mr 1 post.)

Don't forget the small one on the door jamb as well. Note: playing Macho Man and ripping off the panel when it clearly won't come off may result in breaking something.

The problem on the door panels is making the material so that the seam breaks where the airbag comes through; needs to be breakaway stitching also.

Anyone have a problem with the plastics that kept the door panel on the door? A couple of mine broke and I haven't put my panel back on because it wobbles. Hopefully these are sold separately and some one has a part number

C230 2006 2.5 V6 Coupe
Sorry for bumping a waaaaaaaaaay old thread, but I just need to give respect to gaiex and C230 Sport Coup for their contributions to it.

Saved me a lot of time, swearing and probably money when I finally gave in and took it to the shop to get the to do it (or because I broke something).

Thanks!
