supercharge the 320
)RENNtech has different levels of upgrades and prices on their website... ( http://www.renntechmercedes.com ). You're probably looking at $10k just for the performance package... then you have to figure out if you want to upgrade the brakes and suspension.
Here are some of the estimates...
KLEEMANN: you're looking at around $6,500 to $9,000 depending on who you go to. And that's just parts, not labor/installation.
RENNTECH: probably around $10,000 as already mentioned.
AMG: A true C32 AMG supercharger through Affelbach in Germany will run you around $25,000 if (big if) AMG in Germany allows it. You would have to get special permission from AMG, ship the car, do the work there, pay up the wazoo for bunch of other AMG fees, and the ship the car back.
Might as well buy a C32 or C55 for that hassle. Too bad the C32 AMG COUPE was never sold outside of Europe. And even then, only 10 were sold in Europe.
I've run across tons of blocks and annoyances tracking down legitimate AMG C32 COUPE parts for my C320. For most, if not all, I've had to resort to AMG C32 Sedan parts, and either I was lucky they fit (suspension, sways, brakes), or have to modify to make it fit (ie exhaust).
The engine though, you're better off going with an aftermarket supercharger like KLEEMANN, RENNTECH or any of the others out there. And VIGUERA is right, then you have to upgrade (if you haven't already) brakes and suspension to handle the power block.
In the meantime, I'm getting the EVOSPORT Pulley Kit which adds 13hp. Once I get the KLEEMANN, I think it was in the neighborhood of 349hp.
That's gonna be freakin' awesome for a COUP !!!!
can't wait !

i think i'll probably end up just getting a new benz after the lease, either some c-class or maybe move up stream to a clk or slk. i've got a a little over a year though. so exciting to speculate though.
