I think Mercedes finally got it right for '05. Your car looks completely excellent AS IS...not many out there that you can say that about (at least in that price range).

In California the cops rarely pull you over for not having a front plate. I've been driving around for 5 years w/o plate and only pulled over once at LAX. Just make sure you have one on when u go LAX. They will pull you over almost every single time at LAX for not having a plate, especially at nite. That place is seriously pig city.
My car came out to 33700-1500(c-spot). I could only get it to 100 below invoice at the largest dealer (fletcher jones, newport). This car is too hot and especially w/ the light package making it rare. Not many dealers have one on the lot, and the wait from germany is more than 2 months. they can sell a fully loaded C230K thats on the lot in a day. theres no incentive for them to sell it to anyone under invoice with the 05 C230K fully loaded. Im satisfied w/ my car and its price.
Btw If anyone wants to buy a car, go down to Orange County. the tax there is lower, i think its at 7 something rather than 8 something. Also if you going to Fletcher Jones look for AJ.

I completly agree. Good for all the new customers but sucks for us 'oldies' that modifyied our c classes for 15K-35K more to make it look as nice as it comes out of the factory now
