W203 Brake lights always on
Car: C class, w203, 2.2 diesel, year 2001, estate.
One morning I started the car and brake lights (including the upper brake light) keep staying on. I did change brake light switch, twice. So I have 3 of them now. When switch is pressed, nothing happens. When I unplug the brake light switch, lamps do go off. Star does not give me a fault of any kind in regard to brake lights. Bulbs were not changed, I do own it less the 6 months only though, but everything worked before this.
In addition while I was looking at all relays and fuses front wipers stopped working, who knows maybe there is a connection.
When I take out a bulb(brake light) and start the car, display shows a fault.
I managed to find that the wiring schematics is depicted in PE82.10-P-2002-FA document, failed to find it anywhere, not an advanced Star user.
While trying to solve this, solved ESP fault, the steering wheel sensor needed calibration, but this fault was present since I bought the vehicle.
If anyone has any suggestion on the matter or clarifying questions, any help will be greatly appreciated!
Very Truly Yours,
Nick

If all wires and the switch are okay, then unfortunately it'll be a SAM issue. Those can be picked up (used) online.
