What engine oil should I use
Hi guys,
What oil should I be using in my 2001, c180, m111 (non-kompressor)? I've been using castrol magnatec 10w40 all these years. Just want to make sure it's the right viscosity

This comes up a lot. I tend to follow 3rd part independent test/recommendations. I have followed this blog for several years.

Find out which approved list (MB Approval number(s)) is for your engine (unfortunately I am unable to locate this for your M111) and look on the MB approved fluids (BeVo) website. If it's not in your manual, your local service department will know.
