Eibach vs H&R

Hey all,

Just wanted to know what peoples preferences were.
H&R or Eibach. Any recommendations? Does Eibach
have coilovers? I know H&R does for W203 but they
say that they're still in R&D. Anyone know where
these are manufactured? I don't know whether to go
H&R or Eibach.

H&R all the way. I dont like Eibach, I had them before and they are very harsh and stiff ride. Not that comfortable especially with low profile tires.

Eibach H&R?

You might try shox.com - usually the lowest prices -

Don't know about Benz applications but most people on the Audi TT Forum think that the Eibachs give a softer ride than the H&Rs - which can be fairly firm. So a lot of people there go Eibachs with Bilstein Sports and some type of camber kit (rear is not adjustable) on their TTs -- with good results

What does lowering do to the camber on these cars? Is front and rear adjustable ? and can you get camber back to spec ? And do you have any squeak groan problems?

The newer MBs have camber kits already so its fine. My tires are wearing perfectly with my 18". I also hate the height of the Eibachs. I have ran 3 sets of H&R in 3 different cars, 95 BMW 3 series, 95 C36, and my current. I had Eibachs on the BMW before, my old Talon, and my friend integra and I still hate them. I think its a harsher ride and I dont like it at all. Just my .02.

definitly H&R there much better quality and they give a great stiffer ride but yet they feel similar to the stock spring which is nice and comfy. H&R's will lower your car more than Eibach.
