Multi-function relay?
Hey Guys,
The horn on my ‘02 stopped working. I checked the fuse first which is good. The next thing on the list was the relay, but I realized the fuel pump in addition to a few other components run off the same relay. Considering all the other components are working fine is it safe to rule it out?
I’m trying to determine if these relays completely fail or start to malfunction like my issue with the horn. I would rather just buy one for $9 than run all tests if this might be the case.
Any insight would be appreciated!

If you'd rather buy than test, why ask? Just buy and discover. And tell us how that worked out... after all it's only small money. At miniscule labor rates, it's hard not to spend more than the nine bucks you claim the part will cost.

All the local shops are sold out of it. Why even waste your time responding to my post?! I’m clueless why people like yourself join forums because there is a good amount of you out there waiting to pounce at the opportunity.
Maybe consider helping someone out the next time, if not keep your opinions to yourself.

They make me grit my teeth. Too many gnats like him unfortunately exist on these sites. They should have their own forum where they can vent their frustration or we should have the option to swat them until they get booted off. If having a horn keeps someone from hitting you, then feel free humbug us all about not having one, when days ago you could have fixed it.
OTOH, leave the horn alone and let natural selection take its course.
