2002 C230 Kompressor valve cover removal
Thanks for any help:
I am trying to remove valve cover to replace the gasket.
Using factory WIS:
removed all 10 valve cover bolts, ignition coil wire harness and coils, cam sensor, and oil vent tube.
nothing is left to hold the valve cover down, but I cannot budge it.
trying to pull straight up and out with about 30 pounds of force, but the valve cover is 'stuck.'
tapped with rubber mallet.
don't want to pry off the cylinder head with anything that will mar the machined surfaces.
Suggestions?
