2357 vs. 1157
Bulb questions:
1) Has anyone been able to find Silvervision bulbs in 2357? There are 1157s up the ***, but I can't find any in 2357. My understanding is that the 2357 and 1157 are essentially the same bulb, except the 2357 is brighter, and is therefore used in vehicles with Xenons (as opposed to the 1156 used in non-xenon vehicles).
2) If not, has anyone used 1157 bulbs in conjunction with xenons? If so, is there a noticeable difference between the 2357 and 1157?

hmmm, interesting, for some reason I thought the only difference was in the light outputt...
were u able to find silvervision bulbs, or any bulb that's silver but lights up amber in 2357s?

no, i have the P21W silver vision in the rear because my 2005 taillights are Euro Spec. i couldnt find 1157 silver visions because i bought them in the UK.
i bought the bluish/amber looking bulb for the front, they are 2357. they light amber, with no bluish hue at all when they blink. i bought these because they give more of a nice appearance in the indicator housing in the BIX headlamp assembly. to me they look like Euro spec BIX from those ive seen.
